<p>Any aspiring film maker or video editor want to win $3000 for a simple book trailer?</p>
<p>Savannah Morning News columnist and local author (and gastroenterologist by day) Mark Murphy is announcing a web-based book trailer competition for his critically acclaimed thriller, The Shadow Man. The contest, is open to all.</p>
<p>First place will win $3000; second place, $1500; and third place will win $1000.</p>

<p>Trailers (1-3 minutes in length) should incorporate the setting of Savannah and the various locales that appear in the story. The cover shot, of the Forsyth Park Fountain at night, is a must, and links to the author’s website and Facebook page should appear as well.</p>
<p>The winning videos will be reviewed by Dr. Murphy. Selections will be based on creativity, originality and usability as a marketing tool. </p>
<p>Entrants will be provided with a digital copy of the novel, free of charge and have the opportunity to talk with Dr. Murphy to cover questions about content, style, etc. The winning selections will be announced after judging, and prizes will be awarded.</p>
