I am a student from India and I hate the reading section. I guess there are more like me all over the globe who hate the reading section too. After taking 7 practice tests and not improving my reading much, I looked over the Internet and spoke to my elder brother regarding this.
Well, if reading leaves you aghast and you are vexed by it and have always dreaded it, there is a solution for you and me.
This is a book by Norman Lewis. It’s called How to Read Better and Faster.if you aren’t an avid reader like me and want to improve your reading(both for sat/act or generally) you should read this book. I have done like the first 2 chapters and I am observing improvements.
My reading speed has increased from 220wpm to 300wpm. As I am taking the ACT again in September, I really hope My reading will be in my fist.
