<p>Looking over these boards, seeing all the amazing people who got rejected, it doesn’t make me feel as awful. I mean, we can’t really help what the adcom’s decide, or how they do it. Without the HY ED’s this year, Stanford was definitely going to take a ED hit on applications, and the economic crisis doesn’t help.</p>
<p>So there’s bound to be many reasons why a rejection letter came, but it has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with how “good” we are. We played the game, and we got “slaughtered” (oh yes, I cried…bitterly.)</p>
