<p>Hah, that title is a joke, but I thought it would be a fun to have a thread where we can discuss our deferrals for the MT department at different schools.</p>
<p>I am deferred to:
Elon and Penn State.</p>

<p>I just want to say congrats on the deferrals! These are very positive! Most programs either take nobody this soon or very few already, as they need to conduct all the auditions before making up their entire class. So, a deferral means you are still in contention but they must complete all auditions before they decide the final class. Think of it as a callback or a cut you have made. Bravo!</p>

<p>My D is deferred at Penn State from NY Unifieds…crossing fingers…and toes…and well, whatever I can! :-)</p>
<p>My D deferred at Penn State from LA Unifieds. She loved the program and Cary Lipkin. So we are also crossing fingers and toes!!! Deferred is certainly better than not hearing anything though. The waiting is surreal, looking for the mailman, checking our email constantly, checking the websites to see what else is brewing!!! But how exciting!!!</p>
<p>havent gotten the official letter yet, but i had an email telling me I’ll soon be getting my letter telling me I’m deferred to Otterbein =]</p>

<p>… it is the only school my D has her heart set on. The agony continues for a few more weeks. She actually got a nice phone call that was very encouraging, and was told that she is very high on the list. But still…</p>
<p>When will decisions for those deferred from Mich come out?</p>
<p>Bumped from a few weeks ago but I know quite a few people were deferred from Point Park, and my status just changed to say my letter was in the mail, so I’d think you guys should go check, too! :)</p>
