Your grades and scores aren’t out of this world, however they aren’t low enough to hurt you by any stretch of the imagination. Your really going to be riding on your ec’s/work/volunteer experiences which by the way are absolutely phenomenal. Yale is really humanities oriented which bodes well for someone with your background. If your essays capture your eclectic/cosmopolitan personality then I don’t think you will have a problem. The thing is everyone is going to have amazing grades/scores who will be applying early, so Yale is going to have to pay extra close attention to the more subjective aspects of each applicant…in which case you stand a pretty good chance of being accepted.

I was just curious why you think a 6 in spanish will be detrimental. I know a 7 would have been nice, especially in on a SL test but do you really think Yale will look down on a 6?

You have a good shot. Anecdotal recs are the best kind. Consider even getting another rec, if it would be as good as the first two (and tell a slightly different perspective).

Good luck!

Thanks! Actually, I’m getting 2 teacher recs, one from IB coordinator, and one from the consulate where I interned in the summer - they rank me amongst top 10 of all interns they ever had in the past.

hey man. pretty impressive! i’d say you have a good shot, but what do i know. i think you’d deff get into one of your top choices,

btw what is HYP

Harvard-Yale-Princeton

great chance, and if they take anyone from greece, it’d be you, so i think you’re in!

thnx /asdada/

hello debate-addict

Im doing IB as well and i was just wondering what you were predicted…

Debate-addict, Are You Going To Apply Early To Yale?

Yes, I am applying early…
My predicted is 45…

Anyone else? Application is leaving soon! :)
