I will be attending the Taft school next year and I was just wondering what the school is know for and what the students are said to be like.

Oh, okay. To answer your question, the students are generally nice and open minded, but you’ll find a few ignorant and rude people as you would anywhere else.

Hi @whatever4ever are you a new student at Taft? You say on your post that you will be entering this fall but you answered Pnwnwp’s question about what the students are said to be like. Do you already know some students or is that your personal perception? perhaps when you visited the school?
@happymom123 My sister is an alum of Taft so those are her opinions, plus mine from admitted students day. And I am entering this fall, to answer your question.
@whatever4ever do you have any information about the international students at Taft? Does your sister have an opinion on that part of the school population? Like were they well integrated into the school community? Could she share her view on that? Did you meet any international students on admitted students day? (We weren’t able to attend) If so, do you remember where they were from?
@Happymom123 Honestly, it all depends on the student. People tend to congregate with people that share the same culture as them, hence the “Asian mafia”. I met one Int’l student and I think she was from France. I also met two Asian girls and I didn’t find out where she was from.
