<p>razorsharp, first off, its fiction. :slight_smile: </p>

<p>A trap was set up and Thomas Crown was not supposed to know he was about to be apprehended. There were thousands of people in the museum. The officers thought they could catch him without disturbing the patrons. They did have the roof and the impressionist area sealed off. (I don’t remember how he was able to access the impressionist room or how he escaped). </p>

<p>The authorities were outsmarted. As was seen in the clip, they panicked.</p>
