The TINY Harvard C Club and how you'll probably end up on the outside..

Just happened to be doing some rough calculations now, and wanted to share them with you guys.
All data was collected from USNews and CollegePr0wler (when necessary)

Average number of students graduating Harvard College each year = 6655 (tot. undergrads) * 95/100 (pred. grad. rate) / 4 (assumed # of yrs per stud.) = 1580.55

Assumed average age when graduating from H College = 22
Assumed average life expectancy of a H College Graduate = 72 (for simplicity)
Assumed average # of years between H graduation and death = 50

Assumed total # of living H College alumni = 1580.55 * 50 = **79 027.5 **

Approximating # of “regular” CCesque alumni:
Total = 79 027.5
(-) Varsity athletes (16.5 %, CollegePr0wler)
(-) Assumed %age legacies (15 %)
= 54 134 (or 10 827 graduating in the last decade)

**So don’t be at all disheartened if you receive an e-mail the 30th excluding you from this perversely exclusive elite community!

Good luck everyone!**

What do you mean “C club”

C = College…
