<p>Over on the Harvard board, a student saying he goes there has troubled to create a series he calls the “truth” about Harvard, as well as about Yale and Princeton, schools he seems to have turned down for Harvard. I think it would be helpful to prospective Columbia applicants if a student or two presently or recently there wrote a detailed profile of the school on this board. Why did you choose the school? What is it like? How has it (or has it not) met your expectations? For budding journalists or writers, this could be a fun exercise.</p>
