The truth about Dunkaroo

Posts: 161 Actually I’m done with college. I know alot about Boston University from some family and friends who have gone there and have both had wonderful experiences and I’ve really been able to witness the transition from an average school to a great one.

It is projected that city schools will become ultra selective within the next 5-1o years. Take for example, USC and NYU they have already reaped the benefits of the city school boom. George Washington and Boston University are not going to be far behind and their time will come when they will catch onto the boom and ride it into a new wave of selectivity as well. "

He claims he is done with college. Then he has other posts asking chances for his friend that are still in high school?

Posts: 161 The common city schools (He is very confused)

Hi, I was wondering what my friend’s odds are for getting into a few colleges that he applied to. He lives in a suburb in Maryland and goes to a fairly good public school. His Stats are as follows

3.48 gpa
1180 SAT
4 A.P. Courses
His class rank is by deciles only and he is on the border of the top 40% and top 30% however the Top 10% is nearly all Ivy League Students therefore the 10% numbers are kind of blurred.
Very well written essays that cited specific programs within each school that he would contribute to
He recieved many good reccomendations. 2 came from his A.P. teachers and cited his outside activities as did his guidance counselor
He has been an active member of 4 clubs holding a leadership position in 2 of them. They are:

Web Design Team
Debate Club/Team
Varsity Lacrosse lettered 3 years (Captain)
Played in a youth lacrosse league
FBLA ( Vice President)

He has won national awards for the guitar
He volunteers with the Habitat for Humanity

Summer Employment/Activities
He worked as a lacrosse coach for a kids summer league
He attended a summer program at Columbia University

Now we know he isn’t the top student. Nor is he the bottom student. He would like to attend a city school. Perhaps Boston University, George Washington, American, Bentley, Babson, Villanova and similar schools within those ranges. Those are probably the only schools he will apply to along with University of Maryland College Park and maybe University of Richmond.

If you can evaluate his chances and perhaps recommend some other schools that would be great and I will relay the information on to him.

He asked me but I didn’t know what to tell him so I posted here. Thank you "

Not to mention atleast half of his posts are about Babson College. Dunkaroo=Enarang. You can even see that he knows a lot about them by this post…

Posts: 161 I am starting to think that you might be the user formerly known as Collegewannabe because your list of schools is exactly the same and you happen to share a few of the same extracurriculars for the same years. You also both live in New Jersey and both transferred to a different school junior year and did better. However, you can’t be Collegewannabe because he had a 1260 in June I think it was and you had a 1310 in May and now an improvement in your SAT score in October. Also he wasn’t Chinese American either.

If Collegewannabe could get a 1420 with his english skills then they should stop making the Verbal section of the SAT because everyone would get 800’s. His typing was absolutely awful. He used to go on 100 long posts sometimes 300 long posts with another member Enarang. Hahaha what a name Enarang sounds like a fruit. They used to rant and rave and ■■■■■ about Babson and argue with Scubasteve and a few other members.

If you are Collegewannabe you are lying about your SAT score if you are not Collegewannabe you will get in over him at every place you apply.

Well Good luck!

Yeah it seems you would need financial aid but he didn’t. "

More Evidence…
