<p>The Universal College Application - Taiwan is Taiwan. Period. The Common Application Taiwan is province of China. Which is not correct. And it’s a drop down list for the country list, you have to select it. That’s bad. The college application in the US should not have involved in foreign political. The ETS ([ETS:</a> Educational Testing Service – Home](<a href=“http://www.ets.org%5DETS:”>http://www.ets.org)) Taiwan is Taiwan also. The Universal College Application and ETS are two good examples.</p>

<p>Needless to say this is not the place to be discussing politics. What does this have to do with the Common Application?</p>

<p>Look, I’m Asian too - the thing is, both China and Taiwan are officially recognized by the US - naturally then, all US-based organizations would treat the issue similarly.</p>
