I am waitlisted by wash u, too. hope for northwestern.

I’m also waitlisted by wash u
and i was deferred by duke earlier during early decision

so now i’m just hoping i’ll get into Duke, Columbia, Upenn, G-Town, and NW :S

same here. waitlisted as well. Eff WUSTL. They are gonna ****ing regret. I hope i get into other schools i applied to…
My top choices are
Penn
JHU
Cornell
Duke

and of course Northwestern :)

My top choices:

Penn
NU
Duke
Berkeley
UCLA
Yale
Chicago

everyone got waitlisted from washu uuuggghhhh its just a hope killer…

I didn’t apply to WashU, but yeah, a lot of my friends got waitlisted. Interestingly enough, I know twins with pretty much the same stats…one was waitlisted, the other was accepted. Their essays (though I didn’t read them) were likely of the same quality.
WashU is cray-cray.

I got waitlisted at WashU as well!! Glad to hear it’s very common

wustl is trippin’. That’s why I didn’t apply there.

awww. I got accepted to WashU! Sorry for all you jipped people! That’s not fair.
But yea, my birthday’s March 27th… so I really hope I get an early bday gift. ;)

yea washu is kinda putting a damper on my spring break… i love all this talk about washu waitlisting ppl because they’re “over-qualified” or something like that. but sometimes it just hits me that maybe i’m just under-qualified… :(

I got accepted at WUSTL^^ But so sorry for all those super great people who got waitlisted…=(

Honestly, if I get into Northwestern, I would probably choose it over WUSTL, so there’s one extra spot for waitlist! But…really not sure if that will happen loll

Good luck to everyone!

how will northwestern notify? Does anyone know if there is a site to check status etc?

There should be an email around the 27th.

how do you know that…i havent been able to find that info anywhere? Will the email have the decision or direct you somewhere else to find out?

Idk the details but from previous years it’s around the 27th

When we were notified for early decision, they sent us an e-mail saying they would mail out decisions soon, but wanted us to know the choice before receiving our letters/info. Then the e-mail linked to a copy of whatever letter we would be getting - accepted, deferred, rejected. I would imagine the process is very similar for regular decision.

About ten more days! Cmon the Wash U forum was buzzing around this time

So does that mean they’ll probably come out Friday, the 26th?

Yea probably as it is the last friday.

:( @Perididdle - What time did you get the email?

This is ridiculous. I was staying a lot more busy when ED notifications were sent, so it didn’t eat away at me as much. But now I’m becoming insanely anxious.
