Seriously… I’m in Korea so others might be in different situations… but I’m current accepted to another college and its new-students-welcoming-day overlapps with that of Upenn. It happens around July 18… I would hate to go to Upenn and get rejected from it later OR go to my college and get accepted to Penn. C’mon upenn… give us you decisionssssssssssssssss

Got my rejection too. oh well…
Congrats to you all.

Let me go find a transfer thread, I’m officially off this one.
Bye!

Chlormel/ I’m sorry to hear that. Best of luck with transferring! Hope to see you at wherever i go.

A simple bump to keep this thread alive. Still no news from Penn.

^^^
omg uve waited this long???

yup…we’ve waited this long. and we are going to wait until they say yes or no.

has anyone gotten off the extended waitlist?

Haha its already July 26th. I would assume that this is almost the “end of July”. I guess they’ll tell us sooner or later whether we got accepted or rejected after 7 months of waiting. Better yet, maybe they’ll a selected few to wait more. On the end note, I hope everyone gets in.

Since the time I returned the card, whatever color it was, I have never gotten any communication from the office of admission. I’m eager to join Upenn and I’m actually considering applying to join for the class of 2013. Any body who has had anything so far?. I got a voicemail from Somebody I guess a “Robert Maloney” or somebody like that telling me to call back as soon as I got the message but I’m not sure if it was from the admission office. I’m from Kenya and honestly I think I should just go on to our local university as I have been selected to do Actuarial Science with IT and forget about all the hustle of hoping to get into Penn. For my brothers who got in, especially Nicholas Cheruiyot, keep it rolling bro. Maybe I’ll join you next year or any other IVY league school or MIT, Cheers.

@leny-- definitely call back. i got a call about 2 months back and the day after i told the guy that i still wanted to go to penn he sent me an email telling me i was in. if this isnt the case, it sounds like you are off to do great things anyways, best of luck.

Could you give me the phone number they used to call you. Or any of their contacts. All the emails I’ve sent have not been replied to and even the persona who left the voicemail did not leave any call back number. I tried to get it from the local service provider and they told me it was restricted. This waiting business hurts. Anyway, I still want to do Actuarial at Wharton and I’m thinking of reapplying. Slim, please get back to me. lenykoskey@gmail.com

I mean the person not persona.

Leny: why don’t you try to call this person:

Elisabeth O’Connell (215) 898-7901
Associate Dean
Director, Transfer and International Admissions
Africa, East Asia, Guam, Middle East

At the very least, she ought to know who called you and why.

Leny

[Penn Admissions: Contact Us](http://www.admissionsug.upenn.edu/contact/)

I would either call the admissions office (215.898.7507) or probably even better Elisabeth O’Connell (215.898.7901) who is in charge of applicants from Africa.

Good luck!

p.s. oh my bad, someone was quicker…forgot to press F5 cheers

Leny,

Check your email. I have sent you Elizabeth’s email.
Keep trying and Good luck!!!
