Is this book considered of enough literary merit to be suitable for the AP Literature exam? I know it’s kinda last minute, but my English teacher told me to do Hamlet, and I picked up it just know and realized I had forgotten all of the characters.

Thanks, guys.

Garp is one of my favorite books ever. This doesn’t answer your question at all, sorry. I don’t know if it would be considered equivalent to the typical books listed, but I think if the topic fits it perfectly [perhaps they’ll ask about tranvestite football players?] and you write a good essay, you’ll be fine.

Haha, okay, thanks. I think I’ll Sparknote Hamlet and keep Garp as my back-up.
