Princeton’s alumnae have been prominent in the news recently. During the summer, Forbes published its list of the 100 most powerful women in the world. On that list were four Princetonians.

Andrea Jung '79 – Chairman of the Board and CEO of Avon
Michelle Obama '85 – First Lady of the United States
Sonia Sotomayor '76 – Supreme Court Justice
Heidi Miller '74 – Chief executive, Treasury & Securities Services, JPMorgan Chase.

No other university had more than two of its undergraduate alumnae represented. (Cornell, Harvard, Northwestern, Penn and UNC each had two.)

What’s particularly interesting about Princeton’s representatives on the list is the broad ethnic diversity they represent.
