<p>There are different types of scientists. One of them is the newly graduated-PhD who seems to have all the luck, brain, success in his/her field, becoming a PI/asst prof at 30++. Now I really wonder whats the secret to their success. </p>
<p>On the other hand I have also seen some scientists 40-50yrs still working at the bench, unable to reach the management level.</p>
