Theater at St. Paul's?

Can anyone out there with some experience comment about theater at St. Paul’s? When we interviewed, we were told that SPS had cut back on their theatre program “to take a more academic approach” and focus more on the theater classes. What this translated into in terms of extracurricular theater was a III Form play, no play experience available for IV formers, and an upperclass play for V and VI formers. This pales in comparison to what is available at other Ten schools and seems really incompatible with the arts emphasis SPS has been known for. Can anyone involved in theater at SPS talk about the theater community there and shed some light on the situation? D was accepted and this is the main issue for her.

Don’t have an answer for you, but would suggest you post your query [thread=518167]here[/thread] - it’s a thread devoted to St. Paul’s.
