Theater/Drama Acceptances HS Class of 2013 by Member Name

I have been reading this site for the past 6 months and have gained so much knowledge from you all. Its great to see all of these acceptances. My S is a junior in HS and we just started visiting schools and compiling lists and info. My question to all of you that have been through the process is: What is the best BFA Acting or BFA Theater program with the least amount of Gen Ed requirements that has a decent (I know) acceptance rate. My S has been in about 16 productions with a fair amount of lead roles. He has a great voice but is not a strong dancer, (think clunky football player)! He wants to immerse himself in training to be an actor, loves musical theater and wants performance opportunities without feeling like he has al kinds of gen eds that he has to get out of the way. He prefers a big city, but its not mandatory. We live on the east coast and he prefers schools in our area as far south as Philadelphia. He is looking at SUNY Purchase, Julliard, BU, Emerson, Cornish, Point Park and some others, including some fail safe programs. Any recommendations? Also, Unified Auditions in NY seem like a great deal, to be able to audition in one spot in one weekend, any feedback?
Thanks All!
