<p>Look at Rutgers Mason Gross campus for true conservatory and minimal gen eds, however, no MT. Carnegie Mellon of course, which is ultra-selective but minimal gen eds. Also look into U Arts in Philly and, of course, North Carolina School of the Arts. NYC Unifieds were great from out standpoint, although I really do believe it is essential to visit any campus before accepting an offer. Some folks need to cut down on travel expenses and wait until the acceptances are in- and some do this because they don’t want to fall in love before they know if they have a spot. Makes sense. But, fit is a two-way thing and can’t be determined from websites and brochures. Nmh child and I had a great time last year and while it can be stressful, most parents look back at that hear as an exciting adventure.</p>
