<p>briansteffy, I don’t have hard and fast numbers, but I get the same impression as you about Purchase: that most of their non-arts students (non conservatory students) <em>do</em> come from instate. From what I have been able to ascertain, the academic “bar” to get into SUNY Purchase for liberal arts is not the very highest. Does anyone know what the conservatory (BFA in acting) retention rate is?</p>
