I think that DS would have to double major because of DH’s current inflexibility about paying for a “Theater Degree.” 
I figured that the three schools I mentioned were such highly regarded academic schools that I might be able to get my spouse to agree to the theater major. Of course, DS needs to understand what he has to keep doing academically in order to be admitted to non-audition schools. (He’s a junior.)</p>
