<p>Izabelle, My son graduated from McGill last Spring, so we’ve been through the immigration stuff. It does seem daunting at first, and it will give you a good taste of the bureaucracy that you’ll have to navigate with McGill’s administration, but it’s really not all that difficult. And once you get the two student visas (one from the federal government and one from Quebec), you’re done for four years. As for financial aid, if you’re a US citizen you are eligible for the various US federal programs. We never did unlock the key to direct financial aid from McGill for international students.</p>
