Theatre at the Claremont Colleges & Occidental??

I want to study theatre, literature and philosophy at a great LAC, and although I am not 100% sure of my intended major, I know I want a college with a strong theatre program. I've recently started looking into the Claremont Colleges as well as Occidental. Of the Claremont Colleges, does anyone know which one would be best suited for a theater student? Also, can anyone tell me about the theatre program in general at whichever is the best of the Claremont Colleges, as well as at Occidental? Thanks, much appreciated :)

Hi Kenzie1992-I go the Claremont Colleges and I'm very involved in theatre so I thought I'd give you some info to help answer any questions you might have.

I'm a theatre major and also the general manager for the student theatre group.

Bottom Line Theatre/The Druids is our student theatre organization for the five colleges. We do lots of wonderful things (produce plays, go see shows in LA, have workshops, ect). Be sure to check out our upcoming AUDITION WORKSHOP at the beginning of the semester, Tuesday August 31st at 7pm!

Also, the 2010-2011 season was just announced for the Pomona College Department of Theatre and Dance. Here is the link if you are interested: 10-11 Season - Department of Theatre and Dance

I don't think you can wrong either way though, I was also looking at Occidental and they seem to have a great theatre dept. as well.

Thanks and I hope you have a fantastic summer! :)
