I’ll be attending graduate school to get my masters degree in Rehabilitation and Counseling Psychology at a very well-renowned school starting this upcoming fall semester. My degree program is in the college of medicine and I will have opportunities to get clinical experience in a hospital setting for both my practicum and internship. I also have experience shadowing a clinical neuropsychologist among other volunteering experiences. Throughout my undergrad career, I only scored around a 3.2 science GPA with a 3.8 psych and 3.6 overall GPA. Assuming that I score well on the MCAT and maintain a high masters level GPA, how severely would my low undergrad science GPA affect my chances?

Severely. But will it keep you from being a doctor? Not necessarily. Kill the MCAT. Get great rec’s. Have great EC’s. Apply broadly to MD and DO schools. Write a great app. And then see.
