Hey guys, what’s up?
My question concerns an email I just got recently from the president of Theta Alpha Kappa, which is an honor society for Religious Studies. The email is an invitation to join the honor society and mentions that the department of Religious Studies has paid for my induction fees for the first year of my membership. I’m not sure whether I should join or not because the society doesn’t seem to be active (as evident from their somewhat empty webpage) and I’m, well, a Biology Major but I do have a Religious Studies minor (I’m currently on the Pre-Vet track). Would joining the society have any positive effect on my resume or would it just be a waste of time?
