Things everyone's crazy about... that do not interest you

Me too. Many things I love have been mentioned. The one constant has been the K’s

Not everyone CARES about fingerprints on their stainless appliances!

BTW, my friends IRL don’t care about what is dated, hip, in, or aging.

I think we’ve all seen people mention something we love. For example, there IS such a thing as good milk chocolate. Some milk chocolates, including the one I used, have over 40% cacao mass. I used to use part milk chocolate in many of my truffles, because it gave them a creamy texture like nothing else, and could balance the sweetness without adding sugar. (My truffles and chocolates are generally far less sweet that European ones.) The “I only like dark chocolate” people LOVED them. I just smiled and nodded

Brussels Sprouts
Book clubs

Chick Fil A and In N Out. It’s just expensive fast food.

Panera

The Olympics

Trips to Disneyworld. Why go somewhere fake when there are so many real places to see?

Fish.
Shellfish.
Any food that lived in water.

The Marvel Universe and whatever all the movies based on D.C. Comics are called. It’s as if Marvel is our mythology or something. I wonder what movies aren’t being made because all the actors and CGI people are working on the next Marvel extravaganza.

Sales. Bargains. Clearance. Coupons.

Yeah, comic books and comic book characters and almost all movies made about them.

I’m not annoyed by people who are crazy about stuff that I’m not. I’m actually semi-mystified, or even admiring!

People who really know make-up can do such a lovely job enhancing beauty, making it look natural or glamorous or retro. I just have no interest in putting in the work to get there (and no talent or affinity for it). Since my kids love theater, it would be great if I did . . . I have taught myself to be good at period hair by watching loads of Youtube videos!

I assume people who don’t get Disney or Star Wars are like me with make-up (and cooking and road trips!). They feel like huh? take-it-or-leave-it. The people I’ve seen on CC don’t seem like they’d be annoyed or disdainful that all three generations of my family bond over Moana, Coco and The Force

Wow, @cbreeze , you lost me at steak, salad, cheese and wine. >:P

The only reason I get annoyed at the Superbowl is that it is hard to avoid. It’s all over the news, especially if a local team is in it (BTW, newsfolks, it’s still a sports story, not the news, even if it is the Superbowl), press conferences interrupting scheduled programming, what to eat at your parties, etc. If they’d just treat it as a regular football game, it’d be a lot less troublesome.

Me, either, @thumper1 . Why wreck a good book by analyzing it?
