<p>Along the same lines as fauxmaven’s post, I HATE calling a 1-800 number and pressing a million buttons or talking into the telephone just to speak with a live person!</p>
<p>I also hate the robocalls just as we sit down to dinner.</p>
<p>One more phone annoyance: When someone calls ME, and then asks me to wait while they take another call.</p>
<p>Or when someone calls, then proceeds to have an entire conversation with her kids, while you stand there holding the phone, saying “hello?”.</p>

<p>It’s not just that or even primarily that, it just reminded me… I went home this weekend and was reminded of why I left so many of those people behind in the first place.</p>

<p>Lazy @ss people who can’t take their shopping cart back to where it belongs. I’ve seen someone spend 30 seconds trying to balance the cart against a pole rather than take the 10 seconds it would have taken to walk it 15 feet away. Seriously, how lazy are you people? Leaving your cart between two cars so that it’s somebody else’s problem? And what happens when a gust of wind blows the cart and it hits and dents MY car because of your selfishness and sheer laziness? Take 10 or 20 extra steps and drop 5 calories and do us all a favor and put the %*)% cart back, please. /rant</p>
<p>Drivers in PA who get upset when they see a lane closure sign, merge right away, and are upset when others keep going till the merge. In PA they want us to keep using both lanes till the merge point, as witnessed by signs that are often posted to continue to the merge point.</p>
<p>How about some “I want it both ways” annoyances? I am annoyed by:
People who drive too fast AND people who drive too slow.
People who fail to yield the right of way AND people who motion for me to go when it’s not my turn.
Investment bankers AND aggressive panhandlers AND protesters who block my path.
People who are too proud AND people who are too humble.</p>
<p>Big Oil and Gas enablers and proponents, who block clean energy policies, who destroy the environment and further climate change, who are a much bigger problem for society than Wall Street.</p>
<p>^^^Speaking of that, that annoying blond woman who does the commercials that start off, “Do you own an oil company?” and who is shilling for the “Drill, baby, drill” proponents.</p>
