Things That Really Annoy You

Songs which go to number 1 which have lyrics like this:

Have a little love on a little honeymoon
You got a little dish and you got a little spoon
A little bitty house and a little bitty yard
A little bitty dog and a little bitty car.

Well, it’s alright to be little bitty
A little hometown or a big old city
Might as well share, might as well smile
Life goes on for a little bitty while.

Wide people who take their sweet time getting onto the train that’s just about to close its doors, not realizing they’re blocking people behind them. Men who carry folded up full size umbrellas in their hands like a spear so every time it swings back, the pointy part is about two inches away from your ribs. And the worst – the cell phone talkers who have nothing to say but have to repeat it several times for whoever’s on the other end: “So. What’s up.” (pause) “I said. What’s up.”

The Chicago Bears!

People who don’t love Alan Jackson annoy me!

People who wear backpacks on trains and planes and turn around, smacking you in the head with them. Get a clue, people, take it off and carry it in confined spaces!!

When the dog whines and whines that she needs to go out, but then calmly spends eight minutes finding just the right spot for the four-second annointment.

Walt Frazier as the NY Knicks announcer. I can’t stand watching Knick games because of him. How many times does he have to say “serendipity” and “swish and dish” and blah, blah, blah? He’s so friggin annoying!!

People who think they…and only they…are so special that they can park along the yellow-marked no parking curb.

Haven’t read the whole thread, but…

Grocery sales that require the purchase of 10.

Who needs 10 pounds of broccoli? or 10 ten pints of ice cream?

^ Don’t they all mix and match? At least that’s what the 10 for 10 sales around here do.

When an awesome song comes on the radio just as you’re getting out of the car :(

Actually, I do like Alan Jackson most of the time, just not when he sings the dumbest song ever written. :D

People who smoke.
People who smoke and walk along the street swinging their lit cigarettes. This particularly annoyed me when my kids were little and the lit cigarette was at their face-height.

People on their phones in the theater, both during the performance and at the end, checking their messages when everyone is trying to get out of the building. This is especially annoying to me when they are on the stairs.

Thank you for the ventopportunity.

Drugseekers in the ER, who think you were born yesterday with their less than sincere story and who is “allergic” to ibuprofen, aspirin, codeine, demerol, tylenol, toradol, blah, blah, blah.so that the only thing you can give them is dilaudid. Intersting that all the drug seekers we know have the same allergy history. Smh.

People that answer a question with a question, are purposely vague and cagey, but hurl insults and accusations if you don’t answer every one of their gagillion intrusive questions with excrutiating detail.

making a purchase in a store and they need to take your name and address…can’t I just pay for the sweater ? And no, I don’t want to save 10% off of today’s purchase and get your store credit card

^Also, trying to find someone in a department to store so you can PURCHASE something! And heaven forbid if you need to ask for actual HELP.

Winter. And the fact that it annoys me makes me feel like a wimp.

All those drivers who decide to become “nice” traffic cops. And determine that she will let in that driver or maybe 2 in front of HER, thus holding up the 25 vehicles behind her .

Indeed the “nice” new traffic cop may be loved by the one who was late getting up. And despised by the 50 behind her who got up on time, and are now being penalized by this goof.

An unmerited “act of disregard” committed by someone in dire need of love. And a brain.

^^ Not a random act of kindness??

The fact that cashiers no longer know how to count back change.

So when the total is $9.36 and I give them $10 with a penny, and a dime, they cannot figure out they are supposed to give me 3 quarters back without the help of the register.

For those of you have not had the opportunity to be a cashier, the cashier is supposed to subtract the extra change I have given them from the 9.36 to make it 9.25 in their head so 3 quarters then =$10.
