Things That Really Annoy You

People who only invite you when they are hosting something that involves giving their kid a gift.

People who insist on shoving politics and religion down your throat when no one has said a word about either. Makes family gatherings so uncomfortable.

Hold on jym, I’m still entering my next destination in my GPS and my child just texted me requiring an immediate response. :)

I’m annoyed with people with shopping carts who block an aisle because they decide that it would be a great spot to share the latest gossip.

I’m also annoyed with people who use gym equipment and don’t bother to wipe off their sweat.

Maybe they are just putting in their GPS address or talking to their kid :)

JK! I was dodging those ill-placed shopping BUGGIES just the other day. Blocking aisles, corners, endcaps, etc. Grrr…

Seriously though, at this time of year especially, a person who sees that their primo parking space is being coveted by several waiting cars which are simultaneously blocking the cars behind them, they (the person leaving the space) can move to a less inconvenient place in the lot and pull over to do whatever they need to.

As our old babysitter used to say, Move on, lady :)

Or those that are too lazy to walk can park in the open spots and get out and walk. 50 feet ain’t gonna kill anybody!

I was at a basketball tournament all week. There was a parking lot, a big grass area, and then another parking lot. The first lot was full so people were parking in the grass rather than walking the extra 40 yards and park in the actual parking lot…

You could do a lot worse, like DW did early soon after coming to the US, when she referred in slang to someone who stepped out for a cigarette…

People that constantly whine and complain about the silliest little things that, yes, when I think about those things it annoys me, but gosh, I don’t even think about it! Chill!

:D

LOL!!! Hope she didn’t get clobbered!!

I’m annoyed by:

-People who seem to think the theater seat in front of them is a foot rest.
-People who talk during a movie.
-People who bring young, noisy children to movies. It’s not the child’s fault … it’s the fault of the irresponsible parent. Yes, I will absolutely “sshhhh!” a child when a parent fails to do his/her job.

Correct. If there is a spot to be found. Guess you weren’t at Costco yesterday!!!

adding to splashmoms:
People who don’t think that everyone can see their phone screen when they pull it out in the middle of a darkened movie theater. Even many rows back, that thing shines like a beacon. You want to look at your phone-- take it outside.

My mil who felt compelled to call me and tell me the holiday flowers we sent her had gnats on them and so she threw them away. :(

People who talk in movie theaters, and people who laugh inappropriately at everything that happens in serious movies. I don’t want to hear that it is “nervous laughter.” I want you to SHUT THE HELL UP!!! If you can’t control yourself, stay home and wait for DVD or Netflix.

People who come into an almost empty movie theater and HAVE to sit in the seat right in front of ME (and
they are always taller than I am).

When people ask a specific question and other people give them advice on something that they didn’t ask for nor care to hear. I understand you have your opinion but if they didn’t want your expertise on that subject, why do you insist on shoving your views down their throat? Either offer help or don’t say anything. It’s quite simple.

Busdriver, I second airplane farters. C’mon, man, we are TRAPPED!

People chewing ice----or anything at all really crunchy—very loudly and deliberately.

In-laws. They twice counter the old adage that: You can’t pick your family but you can pick your friends. Very frustrating.

Televisions in dentist and doctor offices that play the same recorded videos over and over.

People who claim they never watch tv because there is nothing intellectually satisfying being produced. I see you reading “50 Shades of Grey”.
