Q: What would you recommend to help with the inevitable stress/fear that will come between submitting EA applications and finding out the decisions?

A: Movies. Cake. Chocolate cake. Going for long walks. A good book. Kitten/puppy/small animal of your choice time. Exercise. Friend time. Knitting. If a man, man-knitting man things. Tea. Not freaking out. Knowing that the Admissions Office will get back to you when everything is ready and that freaking out does not make that time come faster, and also that most of us admissions counselors (including yours truly!) totally freaked out about college when applying and waiting and now with the wisdom of age realize that the freak out times could have been much better spent running or playing or enjoying (something, anything) and that you should learn from our grizzled beards and wizened brows.
