<p>I am a sophomore doing summer session II living downtown and taking classes. I just want to know what else is going on with the university? What clubs might be active? Any suggestions for a student who doesn’t have any of his friends doing summer session?</p>
<p>First of all, there is Fourth Fest…its your basic fourth of july celebration, on steriods…there are fireworks and a carnival up at beaver staduim.</p>
<p>Second, there is Arts Fest…This is by far the highlight of the summer, and if you aren’t into buying overpriced art, about half the campus comes back to party that weekend.
Third, there is the Grange Fair…this isn’t technically in State College, I think its in Center Hall, buts its HUGE…people camp out for a week at this fair, and it looks like a penn state football game with all the RVs and tailgating. This is in late august.</p>
<p>Finally, its SUMMER, so just chill out as much as possible and make some new friends!!!</p>
