things to do in Atlanta

Parents, I am going to Atlanta for about one week and I don’t have anything planned out yet. Do you have any suggestions on what place to visit?

Please mind that I’m on a student budget :)

How about the World of Coca-Cola? I dragged my son & daughter there, and they actually loved it. Try some of the free samples of international soft drinks that are not available for sale here.

Do you enjoy zoos? If so, be sure to visit the pandas there. SciTrek (I think that’s the right name) is as fun for adults as for kids. Fernbank is also terrific. I happen to like the aquarium in TN better than Atlanta’s new one, but it’s still a good place to visit.

You might want to check for one of those city coupon books online. At this time of year, they’re usually half price and can save you a lot on meals and admissions to various places.
