Things you learned from the SATs

In my study for the SATs, I feel like I’ve taken more than a semester’s worth of studies and have learned so many small things about grammar, tons of new words, tricks and facts about math, etc. Even some of the Critical Reading passages stick with me like a Discovery Channel documentary.

So, what are some things you’ve learned from your SAT quest?

The biggest thing that I learned was grammar :D.

Now, I’m seeing grammatical errors EVERYWHERE. SAT books, Facebook posts, CC, etc. It’s amazing.

I even judge people by their control of grammar now. If someone tells his or her dog to “lay” down, then he or she is automatically relegated to my “dumb” circle on Google+ :p.

^^IceQube …sorry for being “dumb” but what is the rule for lie/lay ? thx

^See this link. I was just joking :p.
