<p>I probably wanted to go to Harvard.</p>

<p>Then I watched Legally Blonde and switched to Harvard.</p>
<p>I didn’t even know about college when I was 8.</p>
<p>Stanford cuz of my friend’s mom and john elway. Still do lol.</p>
<p>Probably Cornell (mother’s alma mater), Tuskegee (father’s alma mater), or Yale (where my grandfather has said I’ll go since I was born). And maybe Xavier, since it’s right next to my house.
I think really, when I was 8 I was in my “when I grow up I want to be nothing” stage.</p>
<p>I just knew that “It’s not IF you go to college, it’s WHEN” </p>
<p>iirc around the formative years Georgia Tech or UGA looked appealing, state high profile sports schools and all.</p>
<p>I knew of three schools: Stanford, Harvard, and Northwestern.<br>
I definitely wanted to go to Stanford for a very long time, but I don’t remember if I wanted to go there/anywhere at age 8. Probably, though.</p>

<p>I wanted to skip college and live life with the royalties of my first novel (in progress at the time). Good times.</p>
<p>Daughter wanted to be Steven Spielberg at age 8…I think she still does!</p>
<p>I’m pretty sure I couldn’t even name a single college, let know what a college was.</p>
<p>I didn’t even learn about MIT/Johns Hopkins/UC Berkeley/Cornell until late high school, and UPenn/Colombia/etc. until AFTER high school. I still don’t know anything about Brown or Dartmouth. For most of my life, the only colleges I could name were Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, UCLA, and possibly UCI.</p>

<p>I wanted to go to Princeton since I was 5 years old. I live right near it, and I visited the campus every month or so, so that’s probably why.</p>
<p>I didn’t really give a thought about college when I was 8. Towards middle school I wanted to go to UCLA. Now, I have no idea. </p>
<p>Until joining CC, I didn’t know what the Ivy League was and what schools were in it. I had no idea how hard it was to get in or that so many people were obsessed with getting in. I remember watching Legally Blonde, and when she said, "What, like it’s hard? " to get in to Harvard, I didn’t get it.</p>
<p>My nanny went to Princeton so I wanted to go there. But I also remember liking Notre Dame because of Rudy.</p>
