Okay, so Blair and Tabor’s revisits days are the 5th and 6th, which are very convenient for me. But those days just happen to be my sisters’ birthdays! My oldest sister is turning thirteen on the 5th, and my youngest sister is turning four on the 6th. My dad has to go out of town for work that week, and my mom really doesn’t want to leave my sisters alone on their birthday. I could go by myself, but I obviously can’t rent a hotel room alone.

Some schools do overnight visits for prospective students; do you think Blair or Tabor would make special arrangements for me? I know it’s lot on the school, but my mom really doesn’t want to leave my sisters. She’s going to call first thing in the morning (and bend the truth a bit and say my mom has work as well.)

hmm. Perhaps, but you dont want to sound too pushy. I was wondering… do you have to call and schedule a revisit day or do you just show up? I just got acceptance through email, and we are waiting on the formal mail letter, so I’m not sure.

Nah, I never called them. I’m going with a friend now instead (she’s over 21 so it’s legit).

And I’m really not sure. You may want to call the admission office. But nothing I got said you have to RSVP; in fact, at the beginning of the schedule there is registration.

I would expect that you would RSVP for this type of event.
Didn’t your packets have some type of response card?
At the least, you should send an e-mail saying that you are happy about being admitted and looking forward to attending the weekend.
