THINK Global School more selective than HADES?

Yeah how can they get on Boarding School Review? Sketchy is the right word here.

Things I’ve found out about this school:
There are six full time teachers.
There are fifteen students in the freshman class, and each year a new class will be added.
As of yesterday, eleven of the fifteen spots have been filled. All eleven are receiving financial aid of some kind.

None of this is official information, just things I’ve found from doing research. They may or may not be 100% true. I’m having my interview next week, so I’ll know more then.

bamagirl that is so cool you are applying! keep us updated! it sounds so interesting.

I had my interview today, and it sounds really cool! In Stockholm, the students’ living accomodations will be “somwhere between a hostel and 3 star hotel”, which sounds decent to me. In Sydney they’ll live in a dormitory (RIGHT BY THE BEACH!) and in Bejiing they’ll live in apartments. Fourteen of the fifteen students have been selected, and they’re from thirteen different nations. If selected, TGS is need-blind and will meet 100% of a selected families’ financial need. There will be a host school in each city, and the students will take advantage of that school’s facilities as well as interact with the students. The students will be in Stockholm from mid September to mid June, in Sydney from January to March, and in Bejiing from April to June.

It sounds like a great program, and I’d loved to be accepted!

Whoah bamagirl95, that’s AWESOME! Good luuuuuuuuuck!!!

Some pages like the Why Us and Apply pages aren’t working on their site, though. Is there a way to access their online application/their site in a diff way? Tuesdays is a fail. xD

Oh wow, nevermind haha. Figured it out! /really is a fail

Wait Bamagirl, you got accepted to Blair but you’re applying to this school and if you get in you’re going there over Blair ? Weird but hey if it’s what you want…

I’m really not sure yet, I’m kind of going with it. Sometimes in life you have to take chances, you know? I’m prepared to lose my deposit at Blair (IF I get accepted, which is unlikely) to go to TGS.

Mmh wow, I mean it sounds cool but I dunno if it would prepare me for college, it sounds like a fancy IB program travelling around the world lol.

I know what you mean. But really, when is another chance like this going to come along?

I’m totally jumping the gun- I mean, there’s a one in one thousand chance I’ll actually get to go. But one can dream, right?

agree w/ answerbag. It’s just something about that website, idk…

kind of like what they did with South Harmon Institute of Technology.

LOL nyleco. I may be the only other person who gets the reference though  I can’t even remember the title of the movie!

“Accepted”!

Aah great movie. But considering I have nothing to lose (the only way I can go is if I get 80% financial aid) why not try?

I do get the reference, don’t worry
It’d be great if there’s someone attend this school and provide insider’s comment here. I’m just as skeptic as everyone else.

Waitlisted. But its all for the best- I’m mega pumped for Blair.

Wow, they have a waitlist. Weird for such a small school. Anyways have fun at Blair !

^I doubt most of the students would attend. Even if it need blind, that doesn’t mean the the students are committed to this kind of experience.

i’m going to TGS!!! no kidding…

I trust you this time.
So tell us about the school and your app process!
