Ok, here is the deal… I got accepted to a nursing program and did that for a year. I decided it was not for me, so I am looking to go elsewhere. I have no SAT or ACT on file cause I goofed off in high school. I grew up quick in college and achieved good grades. These are my stats.

White male

Currently hold a general education degree from a community college
GPA 3.7
Classes were heavy in biology and psych
Dean’s list every semester

Volunteer
2008 - Walked for the light the night fundraiser to raise money for leukemia research

Employment
2003-2008 as a medical clerk
Present - ARC services, community based care for those living with disabilities

Nothing too flattering, but I’m curious about my chances. I am interested in working towards a business degree, and Ann Arbor is about a 1 hour drive. My stats may seem dry, but working 40 or 50 hours a week to make ends meet leaves little time for much else. Oh, and you high schoolers… Work hard now so you don’t have to rethink your goals while your friends are all graduating!!! Also, community college can save money, but don’t fall into the trap!
