I have a bachelors degree in visual art with an emphasis in furniture design from Brown. I currently run my own furniture design company and art gallery. (No, i’m not super successful (yet). Yes, I live in a box)

I want to go to grad school.

Lately I have been realizing that one of my major interests isn’t just furniture, but architecture in general. Mostly residential. I want to tie it all together.

I’m thinking about going back to school for architecture.

Questions:

Can I jump right in to the graduate level with my bank of experience, or do I need to an undergrad track again?

Are there any programs for people who have already completed a bachelors degree but want to transition more towards the architecture field?

Are there any programs that tie furniture design and architecture together?

I think scientifically but my prerogative is artistic, if that makes any sense. I may be able to claim residency in either Hawai’i or Oregon (I even have a parent that works for the Oregon university system).

When are deadlines for applications?

What schools are good?

As you can tell I have no idea about anything here.

I don’t have money.

Any thoughts?
