Thinking out side the box for class?

Hello

I just spoke to a student who took fundamental speech from a teacher I will be taking in the fall. I was advised not to think outside the box when it came to assignments. Can someone please help me understand what he meant?

probably meant that you should follow everything the prof says. even if his/her rules or guidelines completely fall out of lines, they will probably always think they are right. so im assuming if you want the grade, you dont argue and you just stick with what the prof says. :)

hope that helps…but dont take what that student says so literally.

Thanks, I did check the website out. it confirms what the student told me :)
