<p>^^^Fox News had a short clip last night, whree they asked Alfie, “How are you going to handle the financial aspect of being a father?” He turned to the 16 yr old (age,according to Fox) mother and asked, “What does financial mean?” and she started laughing, showing her black teeth.</p>

<p>The fact that Alfie Patten has Max Clifford as a spokesman suggests that they probably sold the story to The Sun. He is a big name publicist for “celebrities” over here. So yes, there will be £££ in it. On the other hand the 16 year old could be facing a statutory rape charge if he was already 16 at the time of conception and Chantelle was 15. I doubt he was bright enough to think about that when he made his own grab at publicity.</p>

<p>^^ Isn’t the 16 yr old a “she”? Its the girlfriend/mom who is 16, and the bf/“dad” is 13. She would be the one charged with rape, correct?</p>

<p>This made me smile. Same could be said for us Americans! Oh sure we’ve got Harvard… but then we also have National Enquirer, Nancy Grace, the Jerry Springer show… and endless “news” over a woman with eight newborns.</p>

<p>I can’t believe how relieved I feel to hear that. The whole story was depressing, and more depressing still, is the fact that in real life (as Northstarmom pointed out), thirteen year olds are both getting pregnant, and impregnating all over the world.:(</p>

<p>That little Alfie needs a childhood, but I doubt that’s at all possible now. Why is it that in the photos, Alfie looks forlorn/scared, and Chantelle looks like the cat that ate the canary?</p>

<p>I’m relieved too. Not that I ever believed for a moment that this tiny little kid with no visible signs of puberty was really the father. I feel very sorry for him.</p>
