Forget the economy. It fixes itself. Over the last 7 years, the rich have gotten richer and the middle class have become poor. Government regulation willllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll end this.

Iraq War. Honestly, its about oil. Get rid of the conservatives and lets get out of there

National Security. I am not officially part of the 9/11 truth movement, but I honestly believe the story given to us is pure bullcrap.

Energy crisis - more and more oil is being found (Brazil as an example). This shouldn’t enable us to use more of it. This and past year’s Hurricane season are a result of warmer temperatures. Can the earth truly bring an “equilibrium” to itself? Yes. At what cost? Human life?

Health care should be universal and we should figure out a way to make it more efficient.

Borders are imaginary. "Because, when you think about it, what did I really do? I crossed an imaginary line with a bunch of plants. " - George Jung on importing marijuana into the USA.

Ethics reform. Morals belong to conservatives, ethics belong to liberals.

Etc. Atheism and veganism should be the next two strong holds to possess.

Sorry, Taggart, I am decently versed on the candidates’ stances on most of the issues, but I thought that maybe a real discussion on the issues might be in order as opposed to the personality smears that have been quite prevalent as of late.

I’d also create a North American Union with Canada, ourselves, and Mexico and slowly move south and then take over the world and give the conservatives Antarctica.

What was that called? Like MexiCanaStates or something, lol…

But yeah, that scares the bejeebers outta me. And idk how, you know… thrilled Canadians or Mexicans would be with that idea… (probably not so much…)

We’d still be called the USA and they Mexico and Canada, but we’d function together economically. This way we can solve the entire “taking my friggin job at the grape picking plantation” that American has.

For some, this election is not about the issues. Instead, this election is about a final defiant stand against an America that:

has turned itself into a service, knowledge-based economy instead of a manufacturing one

is destined to become majority-minority in a few decades

will soon see the fading of the baby boomers

is on the verge of rejecting the anti-intellectualism that ushered in the era of Dubya

is no longer the undisputed emperor of the world, with the rise of China and the European Union and even the re-emergence of Russia

These people are very uninformed and quite frankly, stupid. They don’t quite grasp the consequences of their actions, and they will vote in a geriatric warmonger and an ignorant puppet just to allay their ancient fears.

When McCain was running against Romney, he accused the former Massachussetts governor of merely being a state official, whereas he was a national-level politician.

But now that Palin’s in the picture, McCain has done what he has been doing a lot recently and completely contradicted himself for political purposes.

Interesting. Kinda like how Joe Biden said that he would love to run “against or alongside” McCain while also saying that Barack wasn’t qualified to run the country. Or how Hillary said that she had years of foreign policy experience, while all Barack had to run on was “a nice speech he gave.”

I love how, despite the title of the thread, this has turned back into this personalities and personal relationships between candidates vitriol.
