The only **** you’ll ever get from people is from drunks(but that will happen anywhere) and you can just stay out of IV to avoid that. On campus - nicest people in the world!</p>
<p>Don’t worry, OP. I also went to a very “pretty” high school but I think the girls there were more gorgeous than here at UCSB. I have to admit, it is rarer to see very overweight people here than in the general public, but our school, on average, is very ACTIVE and ATHLETIC, not waif-like. Your weight is fine and is probably the norm. I find that most people here are very accepting and tolerant, very laid-back. I know what it is like to have eating issues and trust me - there is a lot less pressure here than there is back home. And if you ever are feeling insecure, there is free counseling that is widely available! Good luck in choosing the college right for you!</p>
<p>I agree with everything you all are saying, and i refuse to let my own insecurities keep me from going to the school I want to go to. i would never be able to forgive myself for turning down such an awesome opportunity because i was scared of pretty girls haha</p>
