Bigots and racists are coming out of the woodwork like cockroaches.

Might be a leap for me to take given the lack of detail but I’m talking about anti-immigration type issues, speaking spanish, etc. I don’t subscribe to the belief that all racists and bigots are white. 
But, the woman doing the attacking could just be a nutcase. Plenty of nutcases, too.

One doesn’t have to be white to be a bigot or racist.

How can anyone draw any conclusions about what happened. What does “Bigots and racists” have to do with this? Was there some slur mentioned that I did not hear or read about?
You’re right. It was a leap on my part given the limited info. I’ll chalk it up to the woman being a nutcase. I’m in the midst of reading a lot of other racist stuff, there seems to be a lot of anti-immigrant, anti-latino stuff around and I made a leap I should not have made. Mea culpa.
Bigots and racists don’t have to be white. They come in all shades. Many people are even racist against their own “race.”

- Racists don't have to be white.
- We don't know of the attacker is racist.
- I've seen racism expressed by people of all colors. In some cultural groups, it's more acceptable and in others, it's more hidden, but no, I don't agree with the idea that white folks have a smaller percentage of racists.
- "These people" are collections of individuals, like me (and you, for that matter). I judge each person by the content of the individual's character. I do not generalize based off of the color of their skin.
