this is silly question but anyways does a thin envelope from Pton mean rejection?

Because if it does i wouldn’t want to open it.

well… ED acceptances came in big envelopes, so i’m not sure what else a small envelope could mean o.O

I’m absolutely sure that it does. Princeton doesn’t only mail you a decision, they also give you financial aid awards…maybe an extra bumper sticker…maybe another viewbook for acceptees…sooo if your envelope looks as if there’s only a slip of paper in it then it’s probably a rejection…but then again, on that Hilary Duff movie, here acceptance letter came in a pretty skinny envelope, sooo maybe I’m wrong…LOL, I’m basically not sure

I saw that movie on the plane last week. I wondered if the rejection and acceptance letters in that movie were authentic ones, like if they asked Princeton Admissions Office how their letters looked like.

that movie bothered me cuz she definitly had no time for E.C.'s , grr stupid movies

sorry, wow i sound stupid lol

You know what’s also stupid? I sometimes get jealous of people in movies who get into colleges that I want to get into! ex. that girl Cinderella Story going to Princeton, Rory from Gilmore Girls going to Yale… it’s like, they didn’t have to work hard to get in.

R U Kidding me! Those kids always have unbelieveable ECs…well if ur talking about hilary duff…Rory was a legacy, with good grades and test scores, and she came from a really good prep school (so she really didn’t have to have any ECs, but she still did though…i think)…anyways, hilary duff worked her butt off night and day in the diner…plus her essays were probably really good (ya know…about her loss, or her ability to triumph over adversity w/e)…and she got really good grades/test scores…they basically were reeeally good applicants…which just makes me sick, b/c it’s there’s no way I can bend time like that

she didnt have any community involvement, or leadership positions if she was working her butt of in the diner, and i bet the mean stepmother lady wouldnt let her take AP tests

wow overthinking this a bit…

yeah but she had been working there for years…i think that might show commitment…and leardership…since she probably trained people…ya know…

so a big envelope is good?

What if you are waitlisted?

If it’s anything like yale’s deferral letter, waitlisted would be one piece of paper.

im pretty sure waitlist is just 1 paper =P
