Asian/African male, age 16
Suburban NY highschool, class of 600 or so
Legacy (one parent, grad school)

SATWR: 750
SATCR: 720
SATM: 690

ACT: 31 (35 English, OK reading/math, garbage science)

AP US Hist, World Hist, Eng Lang - 5
AP Calc BC - 3 (shut up lol)

GPA: Like a 4.4 weighted, don’t know unweighted but I assume maybe 3.7 as I got a C+ once but mostly A’s in all honors classes. Unranked.

Three recs - two teacher and one from a district superintendent. I read all of them unofficially and they’re pretty good if you ask me.

Play harmonica (front a local blues band), love to write poetry/narratives (1st place in a dozen or so writing contests, a myriad of runner ups in others), love to program games (freeware, one has 27,000 downloads), kung-fu/badminton/basketball/parkour (not school teams, though). Less marketable hobbies involve hip-hop: I’m an active beatboxer, emcee, DJ, and b-boy, and I’ve put out several songs (though not really suited for sending to Penn). I also cook for my family and do standup at local charity benefits

Technical editor (second in command) for school newspaper and literary magazine, as well as holding minor positions and participating in thirty other clubs I think. Standard stuff really, like Spanish Honor Society, Quiz Bowl, Asian Culture Club, Science Bowl, National Honor Society bla bla bla.

I’ve worked at Geek Squad (but was fired for being too young, I didn’t mention this though), as well as programmed the school TV channel in ninth grade. I volunteer at the library and I tutor little kids. I’m applying to the College, ED, and my interview is on Sunday.
