This is the only essay...

<p>This $10 essay is the only essay out of the 9 rough drafts I did this weekend that I’m having considerable troubles writing. Anyone else struggling?</p>

<p>AH! ME!!! i’ve written ten freaking drafts ( different topics, different styles) for this one essay. the only reason is because i know hopkins cares a lot about the ten dollar essay and i’ve been going CRAZY!!!</p>

<p>Good. I feel better :D. I wrote mine, but I don’t like it, it sounds really fake and like I’m trying to impress them, plus it’s a bit on the long side. I think I’ll just completely start over.</p>

<p>Yeah, okay at some point I really did become addicted. I’ve just accepted it. Besides I like to tell people I’m not the top poster because then I don’t seem as crazy! (and no I am not the top poster :D)</p>

<p>the 10 dollar essay is like any other college essay. it’s an opportunity for you to show the real you. really make it an adventure.</p>

<p>for mine last year, i dont remember putting much thought into it at all. i pretended to go to Berkeley with some friends and just imagined myself walking streets, making observations of what i saw and spent my money as I really would have spent it had I been there. I gave a dollar to some homeless person, bought a burrito, gave a quarter to someone playing a guitar, and even paid a dollar to some guys who were high on weed to push me on a chair they labeled as “tour berkeley” or something like that. </p>

<p>Well it was easy for all my other essays, I just my fingers type what my brain thought, and they’re all pretty good, but I don’t know, I guess I’m just having a mental block. :(</p>
