The University of Pittsburgh Financial Aid Office is currently reviewing University Policy 09-04-02, Student Level and Academic Progress in light of new federal regulations that will affect this policy.* Changes will be forthcoming and will be imposed for the Satisfactory Academic Progress evaluation that will take place at the end of the spring term 2011 in the financial aid office.

The policy changes will affect GPA requirements, course completion rate, maximum term of enrollment and the appeal process for all University of Pittsburgh degree seeking students, including graduate and undergraduate students on all University campuses.

More information and details about the revised policy and new procedures will communicated by the financial aid office to affected students and staff as they become available.

<p>Sounds like they might be changing scholarship rules GPAwise.</p>

<p>I thought it referred to the new federal regulations for financial aid (grants/loans).</p>
