Your EC’s are nice but did you win any awards or anything in them? Showing that you have initiative and action in clubs will help alot. I also think you should try taking an SAT 2 subject for foreign languages.

You should definitely retake your Math II if you plan on going into math or sciences, especially since apparently there’s a generous curve. Try using the Barron’s book; it’s amazing…

Reach at P and S, good chances everywhere else.
WUSTL, UCLA, Rice, Emory… might be low reaches…
REALLY nice EC’s - meaning, you actually did stuff for them, in terms of hours put in.

Bump 19char

Oh, added information.
Next year I am helping to start a “CERT Club” at my school.
CERT stands for Community Emergency Response Team, and is a nationwide program in pretty much every city that teaches citizens how to prepare for disasters and aid in search and rescue. In my knowledge, it will be the only high school chapter (if it can get established) in the Los Angeles Area at least, since very few teens are CERT-certified (I am the only one in my area).
We plan to get speakers, get students involved in CERT programs, and the like.
I’m just worried that it will detract from my focus-I don’t know how colleges view starting a Model UN and a CERT club in the same year.

Your stats are fantastic! You’re ECs are all essentially correlated. You’re pretty solid for all of these except the Ivies. Which is expected.

UCLA – Match/In
UCB - Match
UNC-Chapel Hill - In
Claremont McKenna - In
Pomona College - In
USC – In
Stanford – Low Reach – My school is sending 7 kids to Stanford next year with varying stats and scores and you’re well within their range. If they keep the same trend as this year I’d honestly say you’re in; especially with a good overall application.
Princeton – Reach – as far as test scores and GPA you’re a contender you just never know what they’re looking for. Sidenote: The kids I know who are currently at Princeton are all really quirky and interesting, so make sure you show them all the aspects of your personality throughout the application.
Tulane - In
Rice - Match
UMiami - In
WUSTL - In
Emory – Match

As far as financial aid, it’s hard to guess. You might have to just research each school individually. Just from what I know the Claremont Colleges have great aid. 100% of the needs met etc. Same with Rice.

(:

UCLA: Match
UCB: not familiar, sorry
UNC-Chapel Hill: would say low reach, but since you’re OOS it’s a bit of a crapshoot
Claremont McKenna: also unfamiliar
Pomona College: In
USC: Match
Stanford: High reach
Princeton: High reach
Tulane: Match
Rice: Low reach
UMiami: In
WUSTL: In
Emory: Low reach

Don’t know anything about merit aid, sorry!

I did a bit of editing and this is my final list:
Stanford
UCLA
UC Berkeley
UCSD
Emory
WUSTL
USC
Pomona
Claremont McKenna
University of Chicago
Tulane
Rice
UMiami
UNC-Chapel Hill
NYU
So I took off Princeton and added Rice/NYU instead. Also, it turns out I can’t establish CERT club probably.

Lastly, my GPA in terms of my school is really not that great. 4.35 is usually pretty good, but I’m in the lower top 10%, and I’m afraid that applicants from my school with 4.6+ will overshadow me.
