there’s always a way around them…

Haha, asifkhan–yes, those coincidences were quite frightening.
But I’m not allowed to take APs until next year and I’m so tired of European History in general so I would never take an AP in it. I hate the fact that we (in my school) only learn about parts of the world besides the West in the context of the West. I would like to delve thoroughly in all African/Eastern/etc history and not just how the Western powers subjected them during Imperialism.
How was your test and how many do you have left?

Okay, I’ve left all the answers on page 140 of this thread. These aren’t just clues. These are the real answers to the most important questions you’ve been asking. When you read them, you’ll ask yourself, “How’d I manage without this knowledge?” Indeed, how the planet has managed is terrifying. Maybe we haven’t. Use this wisely, please.

naidu, sorry I just left suddenly, usu do it all the time, but this time it was unintentional.

FPPS–future prison school student! (if u think it’s lame, then yeah, that’s for u! lol!)

sunshineday, u know what, I thought like u and I do think like this! No, u can’t really call THAT a coincidence though! so u r thinking of taking World History? Trust me, I am not a history student as well, so, I will NOT probably take APUSH–supposed to be boring, and APEURo was NOT. APEURO is pretty interesting I’d say…and the way its history paced up and down ----I love euro hist as a whole! particularly the isms and enlightenment, blah blah…I don’t want to list all those things I just took the test upon:D

geez I thought it was something better than that…

oh well…
somehow life will go on…

They don’t offer World History as an AP but I’m taking that this year as just a regular course. It still is mostly, if not all, in Western context—that bugs me the most since it is “World History” so we should spend equal times in all places. But we don’t. The same teacher that teaches WH teaches the APEuro so maybe that’s why (??). I really hope APUSH isn’t boring. But, yeah, I am expecting it to be too. But w/e, I’ll manage somehow. :)

APUSH is boring… but it is considerably easier than Euro –> which is interesting 0______O

^^ Well, if I can’t have interesting, easy is the next best thing. ![]()
Your odd faces cause chuckles to emanate from somewhere within my chest. Listen closely: do you hear them?

and somehow life still goes on…

:p

^^Crazy, ain’t it?

You just had a quality conversation there. Yup.

Every country is biased on their outline of what to teach in their history classes, this is one place the U.S. is not alone.

^^ You can say that again. (Please don’t say it again, though. That would be rather tedious. So of course you will since I have expressly forbidden it. Oh the roundabout minds of people.)
My teacher does a good job in trying to be fair though in his portrayal of the different countries–we learn much less US biased versions than in the textbook. E.g. America came in to save the day in the world wars versus America looked for the right time to come in during both wars that would allow it/her(?) to lose as few men as possible while also looking like a hero. No wonder Russia got mad.

My teacher is very nationalistic…

sunny, trust me, u’d find apeuro interesting, so, if u r all concerned w/ the Ap score, then, u’d rather take apush, but then again, apeuro is NOT tough to get a good score…And more importantly it’s really INTERESTING! (i don’t know 'bout others, but I felt like this!)

@sunshineyday:That’s how my teacher teaches as well, so you see, we’re not that biased after all. My teacher even teaches us conspiracy theories and stuff, now that’s fun stuff (which makes a lot of future freemasons in my school feel uncomfortable though.)

and somehow life still goes on…

most history teachers ARE nationalistic, they gotta be, or else how can end up taking social science as major? (unless they’re from a foreign country)

she’s nationalistic to the point where it is very sickening…

so, wat 'bout u? rn’t u NOT natlistic?
