^ couldn’t understand that for my life… sigh

Hello everyone.

I am so glad you dropped in to say, “Hello everyone.” You make every day a sunshiney day! Thanks for that.

The “Killing Game” – despite the unfortunate timing of its debut – is my favorite thread right now.

In case you were wondering.

naidu and harry, for ur kind info, (:D) I lived in Asia for 14 years…(almost double than naidu right? ;)) So, I don’t just make up my comments, well, ‘some’ parts of India ‘might’ know abt APs (and I mean the big cities) but u consider in a bigger aspect, Asia ‘hardly’ knows abt APs. It’s mostly all abt the british system of education…the O and A levels.

this thread can not go more than 4000 unless a bunch of ‘devoted’ posters, just like the ones that helped the thread to gain the real momentum till the 1000 posts (or, in harry’s way, ‘spammers’ take up the responsibility!) The free thinkers will soon get tired of the freedom and earn for some restrictions:D

The free thinkers will forever aspire to reach the stars, for the very essence of their quest to reach the infinite is everlasting. Long will live the man who cherishes beauty in a wasteland, who seeks truth in a land of lies, whose idealism is peace in the midst of war! It is this man who shall sow the seeds of truth and prosperity in the rusted fields of death, lies, and evil. It is this man who embodies the quintessence of all good in mankind! Behold, 'tis the free thinker, the perpetual flame who lights the world bright! Alas, 'tis the true phoenix, uncaged and ever free!

How am I doing, D’yer? :D

I only saw the word phoenix in your post and thought of Harry Potter.

That’s ballin’.

Hello everyone.

Chaos, did u write all that by yourself? Or that u’ve compied the passage from somewhere (one of those books that u recommended!) ??

oh, by the way, I said it as ‘yearn’ somehow the ‘y’ left out, it sounds funny to me to read that sentence w/o that ‘y’!

I wrote it. I thought you would be able to tell from the amount of awesomeness that emanated from that post. That much awesomeness at once can only come from one person.

Oh, okay, but I can definitely argue w/ the aptness of that passage to the ‘free thinkers’ of CC! (I don’t specifically mean anyone, I’m also one of those free thinkers by the way:)

(Now, I’m out of CC and talking abt the passage only which by the way seems pretty inspring although there’s a BIG dividing line w/ its application to the real world!)
And ur idea of the free thinkers does not look reasonable to me…Long will live the man who cherishes beauty in a wasteland, who seeks truth in a land of lies, whose idealism is peace in the midst of war!..Hmmmmm…Long will be gone before they can see the perpetual rays of truth and judgement. The wars will prolong, the waste would multiply abhorrently, where’d then YOUR free men go (
ha ha!)? They’d still persevere and be full of optimism? It can NOT be logical in the worldly affair of my view towards future. Will they WAIT and W--------A----------I-------T and w------------a-------------i---------------t…what if the wait never ends, is the life on Earth infinite? (nah, don’t tell yes! coz, it’s NOT!)

whispers to self: (It’s working!!! People are beginning to unconsciously associate the two usernames, i.e. lilkiller and sunshineyday.)

Hello everyone.

Hello everyone.

Take Martin Luther King Jr., for example. Of course, I need not tell you about what he fought for and what his ideas were. Read what I have underlined. You would agree that Martin Luther King Jr., was one such man, yes? Truly, will he not live forever?

Yes, yes he will.
I went on a civil rights trip recently and I learned all about people like that. It was quite an experience.

(This forum requires that you wait 60 seconds between posts. Please try again in 19 seconds.) OK.

CT! I thought u’d come up w/ some different more involved debate rather than trying to put an end w/ ONE example! Now, I do respect COMPLETELY Dr. Martin luther King Jr…he is infact one of my idols too!
But I guess u missed my main point, I was trying to say, we need people who wouldn’t just keep their thinking w/ in them, rather spread the world (which will ultimately bring some revolutions, I’m sure u’d agree that major changes in the course of history occured thru revolutions, that’s what I was trying to say!)
And, I can also use Dr. Martin Luther as my supporting evidence too, in this point of view then!
Oh, well, u omitted telling abt how do they cherish the optmisim, and I guess I just assumed that these free thinkers u r talking abt is simply keeping it w/ in them!
never mind, end of a lame debate! (it’s lame since we misinterpreted each other! Ur Fault (:D) at the beginning since u kept it amibiguous thru ur first post on the ‘free thinkers’!)
